Two types of group dance classes
In regular group dance classes, the dance is predetermined by the instructor and taught at set times. Singles & couples are welcome to attend the classes. Check the calendar for our group dance class location and times.
A 4 week beginner course is $40 a person or $32 for a college student. A different dance is taught every two weeks on Tuesdays at 7pm. You can attend an individual class for $12/person or $10/college student. New students receive your first Tuesday lesson for only $6 when you tell us you saw it on our webpage.
We also have a progressive beginner class on Thursdays at 7pm. The same dance is taught for a month starting with the basics & building each week.
Check our calendar for the dances offered in our Tuesday & Thursday beginner classes. Both classes are taught at Rena’s Ballroom, 720 NW 23rd Ave. Gainesville.
In a private group dance class (50 minutes) which can be from 3 to 12 people working with one instructor, your group decides on the dance. This can be a fun activity with a group of friends. You schedule the times & days that are convenient for the group. We teach Monday-Friday from 11am-9pm, Saturday 10am-4pm & occasionally on Sunday. Private group dance classes start at $60 a lesson for up to 4 people, each additional person is $10/person. Call or email if your group is more than 10 people. Additional travel fee if taught outside studio.
